A JAPANESE DAGGER, with plain blade, ivory carved hilt
and scabbard, 12in., late 19th Century, pommel and base cap
lacking.

AN INDIAN BICH’HWAS, plain blade, looped hilt with some
silver kotare decoration, late 18th Century, some
wear; a Malay Parang, plain back-edged blade, wood scab-
bard, chape and locket, 2in.; an Indian Axe with small
crescent-shaped head, 34in.; and a niello decorated silver
Chape from a Caucasian kindjal.

A BORNEO MANDAU, decorated blade, hilt bound with
cord, bone pommel, wood scabbard, 28in., 19th Century, hilt
loose, scabbard worn.

AN INDIAN AXE, 39in., 19th Century; and three Khyber Knives, with bone hilts and leather scabbards .

AN INDIAN FIRANGI , European blade, one side with letter punches, rib with calligraphy, plain hilt, broad knuckle bow with numerous flutes and arabesques at either end, octagonal section pommel extension, leather-covered scabbard, 47lin., blade 17th Century, remainder early 19th Century.

ANOTHER INDIAN FIRANGI, with blade of German origin, Struck on either side three times with blade smith’s mark and decorative symbols, plain hilt, knuckle bow with fluted decoration, surface retaining much original silver gilt finish, leather covered scabbard,  blade late 16th Century, remainder late 18th Century, scabbard damaged.

A BHUTANESE KNIFE, plain blade, hilt with silver wire
bound grip, pierced gilded pommel, silver scabbard with
zig-zag bands with flowers, and a Kris with wavy
blade, wood hilt, brass mount set with coloured glass, wood
scabbard, 19in.
8 AN INDIAN JAMBIYA, curved blade with central rib, forte
with calligraphy against a gilt ground, walrus ivory hilt,
leather scabbard, I4in., 19th Century.

A GOLD-MOUNTED KUKRI, plain curved blade, calligraphy
on the rib, hilt with horn grip, gold mount, leather scabbard
with pierced gold chap and locket, locket with a coat-of-
arms, 19in.

AN INDIAN JAMBIYA, double-edged flamboyant blade with gold koftgari, ivory hilt with carved decoration, 18th/19th Century, old repair to hilt and small piece lacking.

A GOORKA KUKRI, plated blade, leather scabbard, 18in. ;
a Khyber Knife, leather scabbard, 22in. ; a Tulwar, curved
blade, hilt with traces of silver koftgari, scabbard, 33in. ; and a
Shamshir, bone grips, leather scabbard, 36in., 19th Century,
scabbard defective.

A SINGALESE HANGER, blade with central rib, pierced
panel on either side, decorative brass socket and mount,
19frn., I9th Century.
A SHAMSHIR, hilt with iron guard, cloth covered scabbard, 35in., pommel lacking; two Burmese Dias, one with scabbard, 33in., and 32in. ; and a native Sword with British blade, 33in., 19th Century, pommel lacking.

A CAUCASIAN KINDJAL, double-edged blade, hilt with horn grips, wood scabbard, 25in., mid 19th Century, scabbard covering lacking; and a Persian Pole arm Head, blade with point and calligraphy, 19in., late 19th Century.

A CAUCASIAN KINDJAL, double-edged blade with coptic
script on one ado, the other with initials M.K.B, hilt with
horn grips,  silver mounts with niello scrolls, leather
scabbard, 2ftm., laud 19tk Century.

A YATAGHAN DAGGER, blade with inlaid yellow metal
decoration, bone grip, locket and chape with niello foliage,

THREE MOROCCAN JAMBIYAS, wood hilts, brass pommels, brass engraved scabbards, one
with tip of scabbard lacking

AN INDIAN PATA, plain blade, the iron hilt chiselled with scrolls and leaves, plain grips,46in., early 18th Century, worn

A PtCHANGATTi, single-edged blade with broad point,
such hat, sheath with chape and locket with banded decoration, 12m.; and a small Kindjal, blade with multiple fullers
and pandas of inlaid silver inscriptions, black horn grip.

A BURMESE KNIFE, plain watered blade, ivory hilt carved in the form of a seated demon, 18th Century.
